VSPCA’S Kindness Mobile Restaurant has Helped Over 600 Individuals!

It has been over six (6) years since the establishment of  VSPCA’s Kindness Mobile Restaurant. This initiative was started by the CEO and founder of VSPCA, Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nath, with the guidance and support of the remarkable Mr. Philip Wollen, a renowned vegan activist. It caters to those living under the poverty line, mentally and physically challenged, abandoned, and unhoused individuals. Non-dairy, plant-based, and healthy wholesome meals are distributed to these individuals.

Sexism, casteism, classism, ableism, speciesism, heterosexualism, and other such social constructs, are some of the many phenomena that oppress these individuals, which unfortunately lead them to be helpless, homeless, and isolated from the rest of society. When there is injustice to one, injustice to all will follow. It is, but a matter of time.

Through the years, we have understood just how deeply these individuals form profound connections and emotional bonds with the street animals. They will often share their meals with the street dogs and cats and enjoy some time together. They have deep compassion for stray animals and are often the frontier soldiers looking out for them, defending them, and making sure that they are out of harm’s way. The bond they share is a special one. Most of the individuals have adopted stray animals and by doing so, they share a meaningful message of pure love and compassion toward all beings to the urban cities and crowds.

From the year this initiative was launched, we are proud to announce that we have been able to and continue to provide meals to over 600 people and ensure that they have regular access to healthy, nutritious food.
