The governing body of the VSPCA-India is directed by Mr. Pradeep Kumar Nath, the prolific Founder of VSPCA-India, who is in the humble-noble cause of Animal Rights and Biodiversity Sustenance for 5 decades. Pradeep is far ahead of his time.
Pradeep Kumar Nath has dedicated his entire life to animals. His rescue efforts began as a boy of age 10. Since then, over 45 years, his track record of accomplishment is larger than life. Starting with individual animals, he has revived populations of sea turtles and parrots, while ensuring every animal that wants to live, is protected and given a peaceful life. Pradeep has received countless awards from local, state and India’s national governments, as well as many awards and recognitions from Animal Rights organizations abroad. Pradeep sits on prestigious environmental boards and represents Visakhapatnam in all non-human living matters as VP of Visakhapatnam’s District SPCA. His VSPCA has become the “go-to” for all animal, animal habitat and human-animal conflict issues in the City and beyond. Not taken a day off in 45 years, he awakes just to tend to the pain and suffering of animals in his region. His philosophies are often epiphanic and he says that he’s learnt everything about life from his animal friends and companions. Pradeep has worked with almost all species of animals and native plants in Visakhapatnam and has truly amassed a treasure of tribal knowledge on Animal Nature, Animal Rights and Biodiversity Sustenance, which can only be accumulated from a life of such laser-focused purpose.
