Dear well-wishers and supporters,

The year 2016/2017 - as most years - was very difficult for us in all manner of ways. While there were a few setbacks to our rescues, we take heart that this year we saved many animals in critical situations, miracle rescues increased, and we filed many cases with the police.

We added many humane projects to roster, such as whale and sharks Protection, expanding into more tribal Areas, and expanding the temple calves programme, our rural programmes, and Animal Birth Control for Dogs Training Program. We also launched VSPCA's Animal Welfare Academy.

We profusely thank each and every one of you for your generous support. It was only by us all working together that made this all possible.

We look forward to a much better 2017/2018 period, which will only be possible with your generous support.

Our latest annual report is available on our website - please have a look at our performance for 2016-2017 and consider helping us make next year even better for India's animals.

With kind regards,

This dog is a beneficiary to our One Stop Feeding Station, staying near Old Town. He had acid thrown on his side, and it was so strong that it ate away his flesh. He was rushed to our shelter, provided treatment for almost 45 days, and made a full recovery.
