A VERY SIGNIFICANT VOICE FOR THE ANIMALS HAS GONE!

Corona Virus has snuffed away YET another animal friend DR.Behera from Kakinada, East Godavari Dist. of Andhra Pradesh State and about 179 kms from us.

Dr.Behera is a renowned human doc specialisation in Gynic has his own nursing home and a good name in the profession. Busy with his serving the humans yet he is an ardent animal lover and in particular the Indian dogs. His house upstairs of the nursing home resembles a Home for The Street dogs with three-legged ones, mange and old cases. He has been kind enough to keep over 24 dogs. And he has also the time to feed dogs outside and to rescue and help whenever possible.

Kakinada Society for Protection and Care of Animals is an offshoot of our association with him encouraging him to seriously consider more for the street animals. And only recently before the pandemic could hit he had conducted over 1100 number of street dogs SPAYING AND VACCINATING with the permission from the municipality. We provided him with all technical and advisory support to move on with this sensitive project.

We were in regular touch regarding the street dogs welfare in those areas. Getting away from his busy professional to help the street dogs is a wonderful gesture and very kind and compassionate. Probably the only comprehensive human on the Earth to provide practical support for the humans and animals.

However, his death has left a void in the services for the humans and animals in that sensitive areas where the opportunities to kill the street dogs are much in the readiness.
