Esther Geisser, founder and president of Network for Animal Protection!
Ms. Esther Geisser is president and founder of NetAP which stands for Network for Animal Protection. She is highly educated in various fields that include law, human resources, and has a diploma in behavioural therapy for small animals. She is an ardent animal lover and has been involved in animal welfare ever since she was a child. She is part of VSPCA’s Advisory Board, as well as a beloved patron. VSPCA wouldn’t have come this far, without Ms. Geisser. Her love for all animals has her thinking about all of the VSPCA animals in the sanctuary and shelter. She thinks about all those that Mr. Nath worries about as well, such as those who are outside of VSPCA’s facilities but are undergoing abuse.
When Ms. Tallam met Ms. Geisser, she saw how deeply affected Ms. Geisser was with the dehydrated chickens waiting (knowingly, in all likelihood) for their death at chicken stalls across the city. Ms. Geisser gave every single chicken water on that day. Left to her, no chicken would be unloved or meet a fate like that in a rusted, inhumane chicken stall.
Her favorite animals, it seems, are cats. Those at VSPCA are the lucky ones, as Ms Geisser has worked hard with Mr. Nath to build our “Kassiopeia” VSPCA’s Cat House at Kindness Farm.
Ms. Geisser visits VSPCA regularly to work closely with Mr. Nath and the VSPCA family, while strategizing and expanding possibilities for more efforts in animal welfare.
Ms. Geisser’s presence at VSPCA and love for animals is a gift to the world of animals in Visakhapatnam. We thank Ms. Geisser for her steady support of VSPCA’s work and initiatives and for brainstorming many new ideas by which to protect animals everywhere!
