Breaking down social taboos through our Cat Protection Programme
At the Cat Protection Programme, one of our main aims is to bring extensive awareness as they face social taboo. The people themselves call the hunters to catch them due to myths surrounding the cats. To eliminate this thought we carry out the distribution of flyers at every possible place including door to door in more vulnerable areas. In our survey cats are identified and taken for spaying.
This programme is a joint initiative of NetAP – Network for Animal Protection and VSPCA to save the cats from hunting’s and spay them and more importantly to remove the myths surrounding the cats.
