VSPCA’S Cook-Ms. Nagamani!

VSPCA’S Cook-Ms. Nagamani!

Ms. Nagamani has been with VSPCA for over 40 years before VSPCA was even formed as an organization!

She is an ardent animal lover and works tirelessly to make sure all the street animals, as well as the animals that reside at VSPCA, are fed. Every day, Ms. Nagamani cooks over 29 kilograms of rice and 12 kilograms of curry. She prepares food packets to serve to our 16 Dog Feeding Stations that are stationed all across the city. Almost 330 packets are prepared and provided to the Feeding Stations from 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. and then again from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. every day.

Neither the deadly Hudhud cyclone nor the COVID-19 pandemic has stopped her to serve the hungry animals. Even through the hardest of times, she has shown unwavering strength and dedication to all animals.

VSPCA will forever be grateful to Ms. Nagamani for her outstanding service to all the animals and we wish her the best of health!
